Question 1

What should I do if I have an urgent electrical problem?

Accepted Answer

If there is a fire, smoke, sparking, electric shock, or another immediate danger, move away from the area, do not touch the equipment, and call 911 or your local emergency service. For a non-immediate electrical issue, send a service request for review. A request does not confirm emergency availability or a response time.

Question 2

Will my electrical project need a permit or inspection?

Accepted Answer

Permit and inspection requirements depend on the project and the local authority responsible for the property. Check project-specific requirements with that authority and a qualified electrical professional. This FAQ does not establish a High Peaks Electric permitting or inspection policy; ask about the responsibilities for your project before work is planned.

Question 3

What areas does High Peaks Electric serve?

Accepted Answer

High Peaks Electric LLC serves Colorado Springs, El Paso County, and nearby communities. Coverage for a specific address should be confirmed; include your location in a service request for review.

Question 4

How are project estimates determined?

Accepted Answer

Project pricing depends on the work involved and the details of the property. Share the project scope and relevant property information in a service request so it can be reviewed. No rate or guaranteed quote is provided by this FAQ.

Question 5

Can you help with an EV charger?

Accepted Answer

High Peaks Electric lists electrical planning and installation for EV charging at residential and light-commercial properties. The requirements, scope, and price for a particular installation depend on the property and project details, so request a review before assuming a site is suitable or an installation can be completed.

Question 6

Can you help with generators or backup power?

Accepted Answer

High Peaks Electric lists electrical connections for backup power, along with panel upgrades and smart-panel integration. The available details do not specify generator products or a standard generator installation offering. Share the equipment and property details in a service request to ask whether the related electrical work fits your project.

Question 7

What should I know about electrical safety and code requirements?

Accepted Answer

Safety and code requirements depend on the project, property, and applicable local authority. Have project-specific work reviewed by a qualified electrical professional, and confirm permit or inspection requirements with the authority responsible for the property. This general FAQ is not a code determination or a guarantee of compliance for a particular project.
